Austria
Austria is committed to civil aviation as an indispensable component of modern societies enabling global and regional connectivity. As Vienna is home to one of the four United Nations headquarters, Vienna Airport therefore serves a high number of international destinations. Its ideal location makes Vienna airport an important hub for connecting Eastern and Western Europe. With Vienna as its home base, Austrian Airlines is Austria’s largest airline and a member of Star Alliance. Alongside Vienna, Austria has five additional international airports – namely Graz, Innsbruck, Klagenfurt, Linz and Salzburg – that are considered key enablers for international tourism.
